Responders administered Narcan for a possible overdose at a White Lane motel in the early-morning hours, one of a handful of calls that kept a quiet night across Kern County from staying perfectly still. Crews also answered a medical aid on Stine Road where callers asked for an ambulance without being able to say what was wrong, and checked on an elderly woman with dementia who could not be reached.

Around 4:35 a.m., medical responders were called to a motel on White Lane for a possible overdose and administered Narcan after the caller was transferred to medical aid.

Callers couldn't describe the emergency on Stine Road.

Just after midnight, a medical aid call came in from Stine Road. Several people got on the phone asking for an ambulance, but no one could explain what the situation was.

Welfare check on Mountain Oak Road.

Shortly before 12:05 a.m., units were sent to check on an elderly woman with dementia who could not be reached at her home on Mountain Oak Road.
